where'd you stash your 'stache?

so i finally saw it. i was too cheap to go to the theatres to see it so i’ve been anticipating it’s arrival to blockbuster. all i have to say is: i’m glad i didn’t spend 16 bucks to see it in the theatres.

this movie is one of the most anti-islamic and racist movies that has ever been so mainstreamed. let’s call a spade a spade. they go to the middle east and then make fun of all the customs there in a way that is extremely judgmental and with an over-the-top american superiority complex. they imply that all women who dress in an abaya would rather be westernized and in designer clothing. it’s just disgusting. not to mention the horrible fashion. sex and the city is supposed to be chic and stylish and i felt a lot of the clothing worn by the women was just plain ridiculous. the only redeeming factor of this movie is it’s discussion on individuals in relationships needing space and how taking that time apart is ok and doesn’t imply anything wrong with the relationship.  if i was a bagillionaire living in new york city, i could definitely see the allure in having a BANGIN apartment on the upper west side and then a smaller studio in the west village. i appreciated that. otherwise, awful movie. i was offended while watching it.

I LOVE Camille Grammar too. She’s the hottest housewife by far. However, she was a little skanky dancing up on Adrienne Maloofs husband… dont ya think? Save for Kelsey honey! (well, not anymore obviously i guess)

so i finally saw the episode that puja was referring to…. and yes, i agree, camille is a hoe. straight up.  i also found taylor’s relationship with her husband to be a bit disturbing as well. it reminded me of the relationship between alexis and her husband from real housewives of orange county. what is with these incredibly controlling men and their slave-like wives? my favorite as of now is adrienne. she’s probably the most independently wealthy of this group and the most real. i mean, while everyone was at the pool in louboutins and bedazzled swim suits, she was in a generic track-suit.  i find that the wealthiest are the most likely to not display their wealth so blatantly (despite the fact that she treated the group to an extremely decadent weekend— but that’s being generous versus outright showy). i also like kyle and how in every scene she is wearing a different colored birkin bag. the woman must have at least seven different ones.
