A letter to bravo and Andy Cohen

Hi Andy- I love you and I love everything Bravo…well I did love everything Bravo until I saw Princesses of Long Island. This show deeply offends me and perpetuates terrible stereotypes. In a world where anti-semitism is still very real, this show adds fuel to the fire by elevating the lives of a few young women who happen to be Jewish but are so far removed from the current modern Jewish woman. This article sums up my sentiments (and the sentiments of many of my friends) quite eloquently. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/3423594
As a Jewish man who has tremendous power in creating public opinion through media, I urge you rethink airing the series.
Thank you,
Karen

Seriously?!

When did it become appropriate for a parent to call after 9pm on a Saturday for something work related?

The answer is never. It is never appropriate.

“You mean the generation that paid three times as much for college to enter a job market with triple the unemployment isn’t interested in purchasing the assets of the generation who just blew an enormous housing bubble and kept it from popping through quantitative easing and out-and-out federal support? Curious.” —

When comments are better than the article, Atlantic edition (“The Cheapest Generation: Why Millennials arent’ buying cars or houses, and what that means for the economy”)

Priceless.
